Group of Studies of Archaeology, Antiquity and Territory (GEAAT)

The GEAAT Group is a research group linked to the Faculty of History of the University of Vigo, which brings together various perspectives, related to the study of the territory and natural resources of the northwest of the Peninsula, including its space-time environment, as well as the dynamics of other related territories.

The scientific production has been regular and intense, with monographs, articles in indexed journals, book chapters and contributions to national and international conferences. GEAAT is made up of 45 researchers and is part of the Campus da Auga, which aims to provide the Campus of Ourense with its own personality and scientific identity through the creation of a university campus with the capacity to project itself abroad and to create economic and social value as a driving force for development in the whole of the province of Ourense.
