Carlos Barja Márquez


He holds a degree in History from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master’s degree in Artistic and Architectural Heritage Management, Museums and the Art Market from the same university.

His thesis will focus on the study of the late-antique and high medieval Galician religious immovable heritage and the application of digital tools for the dissemination and enhancement of these heritage resources. His research is linked to the European H2020 RurAllure project led by the University of Vigo.

Andrea Mouriño Schick


She is a pre-doctoral researcher in the R&D group of Archaeology, Antiquity and Territory Studies (GEAAT) contracted by the Xunta de Galicia in the Prehistory Area of the University of Vigo. She is also a member of the Grupo de Innovación Docente en Educación Patrimonial (GIDEP) of the same institution and of the international association on gender studies in Archaeology AGE (Archaelogy Gender of Europe).

She currently combines teaching with the development of her doctoral thesis, within the framework of Public Archaeology and gender studies, on the discourses generated around the Prehistory of the Northwest Peninsular from a gender perspective within the Interuniversity Doctoral Programme in Cultural Heritage Protection (Universidade de Vigo).

Lucía Rodríguez Álvarez


She is archaeologist and pre-doctoral researcher for the Xunta de Galicia in the Prehistory Area of the University of Vigo. Graduate in Geography and History (2015-2019) from the University of Vigo and specialised in Archaeology in the framework of the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Archaeology and Ancient Sciences (2019-2020) from UVigo and USC. She was the beneficiary of the Collaboration Grant from the Ministry of Education in the Department of History, Art and Geography of the University of Vigo under the research line “Integral study of the ceramics from the site of Castelo de Laxes das Chás/Castelo de Lobarzán”. This study was awarded in the III edition of the Research, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination Awards of the Water Campus in the TFM modality. Hired as Research Staff in the project “Patrimonial and environmental recovery of the Castro de las Losas de las Chás/Castelo de Lobarzán” and Collaborating Staff in Research and Development in the research group GEAAT (Grupo de Estudios de Arqueología, Antigüedad y Territorio) of the University of Vigo. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis in the Inter-University Programme in Cultural Heritage Protection at the University of Vigo, for which he received the excellence award for the start of doctoral studies 2020/2021. The research line “Cultural Heritage:” that she is developing under the project “Materiality and Mobility in Recent Prehistory in the territory of the Upper Támega Cross-border” focuses on the interdisciplinary study of abiotic indicators in a specific time and space, the valley of the river Támega and depression Regua-Verín from an entirely cross-border character taking into account this natural route as a way of circulation of “ideas, materials and people”.
